Aberdeen Airport Car Hire
Aberdeen airport is located approximately eleven kilometres North west of Aberdeen city centre. It has recently become more popular with direct flights and in excess of two and a half million passengers pass through each year. There is reliable public transport system including coaches, taxis, car hire and trains. The access road to the airport (A947) is well signposted travelling from A96 Aberdeen to Inverness road.
The airport has one terminal. Information Desk: The information desk is situated at the check in area in the main terminal on ground floor level. Money and Communications: There is a bureaux de change at the airport. The ATM machines are located near Security. Shops: There is a duty free shop, several bookshops and a gift shop at the airport. Luggage: There is a left luggage and lost property areas at the airport.
Car parking: There are short and long term car parks. The short term car park is located in front of the terminal building. The long term car park (off Forties road) offers free transport to and from the the terminal.
Public Transport: The are bus services (Stagecoach Bluebird and First Aberdeen) from Aberdeen airport to the city centre. Disabled: Facilities for disabled people include lifts, ramps, reserved seating and toilets. There is also reserved seating. Wheelchair provision and push is available free of charge.
