Redditch Car Rental

Redditch is a town situated in the county of Worcestershire, England. It lies about fifteen miles (24km) South of Birmingham city centre, and has a population of around eighty thousand. The town is ideally located in England for people wishing to explore the surrounding regions, and it is also located near the M42 mororway, which links to many major roads and dual carriageways to towns such as Evesham and Bromsgrove.

A student council was formed in Redditch back in nineteen ninety three, to aid the borough council to communicate with young men and woman. Representatitives from the local high schools (elected every year) form the members of the council.

There is a train station in the town 'Redditch Railway Station' which is the Southern terminus of the Cross City Line, which is operated by London Midland. There are regular services on the Cross City Line via Birmingham New street to Litchfield. The main bus operators in the town are First and Red Diamond as well as other operators (including Johnsons Excell Bus and Hardings Coaches) run from the main bus station in the town centre.

Kingfisher Shopping Centre is the main shopping area in the town, with about one hundred and sixty stores. It was opened back in nineteen seventy six, and is also famous for it's palm trees located in Worcester Square. Redditch and areas of Worcester have a three tier system for the schools, with First School (age five) Middle School (from age nine) and Secondary school (age thirteen).
