Shipton Bellinger is a village located in the English county of Hampshire. It lies about twelve miles (19 km) North East of Salisbury, and just five miles (8km) from the town of Amesbury. The village is also only seven miles (11km) from the famous Stonehenge World Heritage Site. Salisbury Plain (chalk plateau in South central England, with an area of more than three hundred square miles) surrounds the village, which is close to Tidworth army barracks.
