If you are driving from the West or North you can take the M62 motorway and then the A63 to city centre. Wilberforce House was the home of arguably Hull's most famous son. It become a museum dedicated to William Wilberforce who was born there in seventeen fifty nine and died in eighteen thirty three. He was probably best known for his work and campaign for the slave trade to be abolished.
