Penzance Car Hire

Penzance is a Port and market town on the Southern coast of Cornwall. It has a long history of it's involvement with the arts. It is also famous for it's association with the opera 'The Pirates of Penzance' (by Gilbert and Sullivan).

Throughout Penzance there are many Georgian and Regency architecture buildings and structures. There are also many other buildings of interest including 'The Egyptian House' which is was built in an Egyptian style. The harbour in Penzance is a delight to stroll down to via Chapel street and the famous St Mary's church.

Attractions In Penzance:

Penlee House Museum has a large varied selection of beautiful paintings. A large number of these paintings have come from the Newlyn school of artists.

The Market House has one of the most important Ferry and Helicopter links to the Scilly Isles.

The Golowan Festival takes place each year in June. The festival includes it's Midsummer Customs, practised mainly by the locals of Penzance and other parts of Cornwall.

The Jubilee Pool is a very large open air pool for all of the family to enjoy. There are also planned walks from Penzance Newlyn and Moushole Trails, which will allow you to view the history of these places.
